Dallas Cowboys Plan at Defensive Tackle
With the not so surprising news on David Irving, the Dallas Cowboys now find themselves a short a starter for the regular season.
Irving will be at camp and preseason, but will be shelved thru the first four games of the season.
Games Irving will miss: Panthers, Giants, Seahawks, and Lions
The defensive tackle position did not get any draft love, and now we are looking more paper thin than ever.
Besides Irving, the Cowboys currently have Brian Price, Jihad Ward, Datone Jones, Antwuan Woods, Richard Ash, and Lewis Neal in the mix.
Tyron Crawford could give them some position flex as well. Taco Charlton could move inside, but the Cowboys want to continue to mold him on the outside rushing the QB.
The Cowboys have been known to add a vet into the mix heading into camp, so maybe they look at a trade of some sort. Nothing big, but something that would bolster the middle of this defense.
I'll go into a deeper dive into some more options in the video. Enjoy the latest release!
